Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights – Site Responsibility

Apart from the expressly stated exceptions (intellectual rights of third parties, collaborators and agencies), the entire content of northaegean-music.gr, including images, graphics, photographs, drawings, texts, the provided services and in general all the archives of this website, are the intellectual property and service marks of the University of the Aegean and are protected by the relevant clauses of Greek legislation, European legislation and international conventions and treaties. Consequently, none of these can constitute in whole or in part an object of sale, copy, modification, reproduction, republication or be “loaded”, transmitted or distributed in any way whatsoever. Any products or services referred to in the electronic pages of the present site and carrying the logos of the corresponding organizations, companies, collaborating agencies, associations or publications are their own intellectual and industrial property, and consequently these agencies bear the relevant responsibility. The user understands and accepts that he/she does not have the right to reproduce, copy, sell, resell and/or commercially exploit in any way whatsoever all or part of the content of northaegean-music.gr without the special written permission of the University of the Aegean, following a prior relevant application by the interested party.

Given the nature and the volume of the Internet, under any conditions, including also the case of negligence, northaegean-music.gr and the University of the Aegean are not responsible for any form of damage suffered by the visitor/user of the pages, services, options and contents of northaegean-music.gr to which he/she proceeds on his/her own initiative. northaegean-music.gr and the University of the Aegean do not guarantee that the pages, services, options and contents will be provided without interruption, without errors, or that any errors will be corrected.

Applicable Law and Other Terms

The above terms and conditions of use of northaegean-music.gr, as well as any modifications thereof, are governed and supplemented by Greek legislation, the legislation of the European Union and the relevant international treaties (including, indicatively and not restrictively, Law Ν. 2472/1997 on the protection of the individual and personal data, as supplemented by decisions of the President of the Personal Data Protection Authority, Presidential Decrees 207/1998 and 79/2000, Article 8 of Law 2819/2000, Law 2774/1999, and European Directives 95/46/EC and 97/66/EC). Any provision of the above terms that becomes contrary to the law ceases automatically to apply and is removed from the present text, without in any way affecting the validity of the remaining terms.

The present constitutes the entire agreement between northaegean-music.gr, the University of the Aegean and the visitor/user of its pages and services and is binding only on them. No modification of these terms shall be taken into consideration or form part of this agreement unless it has been expressed in writing and incorporated herein.
